Staff Centre Shipmanagement successfully passed ISO 9001:2015 renewal audit under supervision of Bureau Veritas and new ISO 9001:2015 Certificate has been issued.

Staff Centre Shipmanagement was initially certified in 2014.

ISO 9001 is the international standard focused on the quality of the ship management system and driven by a set of priorities, including customers focus, top management commitment, process approach and continual improvement.

The beginning of the new year was marked by the PSC inspection of m/v ARIZONA at Swinoujscie, Poland without deficiencies.

Interesting fact that this is the 17th successive PSC inspection of the vessel since March 2016.

One of SCM managed vessel, namely m/v ARCADIA, has called to port of Odessa, Ukraine for loading of grains.

It was a great opportunity for shore personnel from Staff Centre Group of Companies to visit the vessel like for a live exhibition. Beside the entertainment part, the representative from Safety Department handed over a Certificate of enrollment to USCG QUALSHIP 21 Program personally to the Master. A planned internal ISM and ISPS Audit was also conducted in due manner.

The representatives from Staff Centre Training arranged on board training session on topics of a great concern among managed vessels.

The subject vessel was found perfectly maintained and manned with high qualified crew which was substantiated with five sequential PSC inspections without deficiencies.

We would like to announce that another one USCG inspection without deficiencies was completed on board of m/v ALMERIA at Portland, USA on 09 October 2019.

This is the 5th subsequent PSC inspection without deficiencies in the USA region during the last 3 months.

Another one USCG inspection was completed on board of m/v ARNICA at Buchanan, USA on 05 September 2019.

We are extremely proud to announce that m/v ARIZONA has successfully passed USCG inspection at Red Dog Alaska, USA on 26 July 2019 without deficiencies.

The attending inspectors admitted a good vessel's condition and particularly were delighted with Cyber Security Certificates issued for every crewmember by the Training Centre satisfying the recommendations described in the USCG Safety Alert 06-19 (Cyber Incident Exposes Potential Vulnerabilities Onboard Commercial Vessels).

The subject vessel was gradually provided with detailed instructions for possible inspection considering typical PSC deficiencies as well with specific regulatory framework compliance including Polar Code Operations Manual.

The successful completion of inspection provides a great opportunity for vessel's recognition under USCG QUALSHIP 21 program.

In accordance with Shipowners request the RightShip inspection was arranged on board of m/v IRON KOVDOR (Year of build 1998) at port Antwerp on 1 June 2019, where only 3 minor deficiencies and 7 recommendations were recorded by the attending inspector.

Owing to well coordinated cooperation of shipboard and shoreside staff the Company response report was accepted by the RightShip Authority and afterwards the Risk Rating was processed as 5 Stars.
