This roof is a classic example of what not to do - leave lichen to eat away at your first line of defence for a period of time.

You can see the lichen shadow — even after it’s been removed, the damage is clear. It’s etched through the paint and rust is already setting in.

Don’t wait until you can 𝙎𝙚𝙚 lichen. Get your roof washed regularly and keep up with maintenance. Early action is always cheaper than repairs or replacement.
