Crafters rejoice! We're holding another fabric sale 🪡

Come snap up a bargain on fabric and supplies; all proceeds go to supporting the Wellington Curtain Bank, who provide upcycled curtains to whānau living with low-income.

Save textile waste, find some funky crafting supplies, and contribute to warmer homes for Te Whanganui-a-Tara households.

During this series, we'll take you through each step of the hierarchy and offer some examples of how they can be used in your daily life. 🗑

Did you know we have overlockers in store for you to use? 🤔

For a while now, a spool pin on one of our machines has been broken. We tried to order a new part, but it got lost in the post. One of our regulars said he reckoned he could fix it with a knitting needle; he was right. A little bit of classic kiwi ingenuity and we’re back in action! 🔧

♻ We want your old tech! ♻

Have you got some unwanted appliances and electronics taking up space in your home? Don't throw them in your kerbside bins - we'll take them instore!

Electronics are full of hazardous chemicals that can poison our soils and waterways when not disposed of correctly, but finding sustainable options for your old tech can be time consuming. That's where we come in.

Te Aro Zero Waste is Wellington's central drop point to deal with e-waste responsibly. To learn more about what happens to your donations, check out the photos below.
