Fuzetec have released their first range of eFuses. The range covers 26V parts which are nominally 3A, 4A and 5A offering overcurrent, overvoltage, over temperature protection and soft start/power OK and enable/disable functionality in a DFN3x3 package. The overcurrent threshold is programmable via external resistor so the three parts cover the range from 1.1A to 6.67A typical. For higher current applications the eFuse controller (FZ7632) can be used with external MOSFET and current sense resistor to give higher current ratings. I have also attached the App note for the FZ7620 (3A version) which shows how to use the devices in the various different modes. Fuzetec also have evaluation boards available for these.
