This Forrester blog article nicely summarises how the big names in the finance industry have had to increasingly adopt chatbots and voice assistants this year. It also notes that the unmet expectations from the AI side of tech still remain a challenge.

Sharing the first chatbot that I made... as a sample of messenger infobots that are possible. Conversational interactions provide a lower-friction user experience - not requiring users to download specific apps or accessing different websites.

A little about our panelist:

Moiz Penkar has a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction and these days works tirelessly on his startup developing automated messenger interactions for digital marketing and sales automation. He has earlier worked in Marketing, Business Development, MIS and Web Development roles (first in Pakistan and then in New Zealand.) He continues to volunteer as an InterNations Consul organising events to bring people from diverse backgrounds together in a meaningful way.

Hamza is a visiting fellow in Strategy at Cambridge University, where his research and teaching focus are in digital disruption and multi sided platforms. He is also the founder of strategy consulting firm, called Platypodes.io where he works with both start-ups and established firms on solving their toughest digital transformation challenges. Hamza has held senior roles in product management and strategy functions in companies such as Amazon, Jagex and Adstream. His articles on digital disruption have been cited and published in The Economist, The Conversation and Entrepreneur - with the latter recognising Hamza as a world leading business thinker and included him on the magazineโ€™s cover in July 2020.
