A recent night out with Night & Light Photography and Cooper Works Creativeat the Burnside Church in Pirinoa photographing the Milky way in the Wairarapa Sky Dark Sky Reserve.
It is amazing how different photographers at the same location will see thing differenly

You are now leaving the Wairarapa Dark Sky Reserve
The Galactic Centre arches overhead as the first glow of light pollution from the Wellington side gently illuminates the silhouettes of the Remutaka Crossing Memorial. A reminder of both the beauty of our night skies and the importance of protecting them.

then just before sunrise got this single frame image of Matariki, M45( Pleiades or Seven Sisters )

Wild. Free. Unmistakably Kaimanawa.
One brief moment of eye contact with one of New Zealand's iconic wild horses—a quiet reminder of the resilience, spirit, and beauty of these remarkable animals. Encounters like this are a privilege I'll never take for granted.
