Concrete Labourer Wanted | Immediate Start | Hard Working Team Player for Fulltime - Permanent Role
Variety | Stability | Great Team Culture
We’re looking for a solid, reliable Concrete Labourer to join a well-established, family-owned business that has been delivering quality workmanship across Canterbury for more than 24 years.
This isn’t just driveway work — our projects are varied, hands-on, and spread across rural, commercial, agricultural, and civil sites throughout North Canterbury and Christchurch. One day you could be working on dairy farm upgrades or pig shed construction, the next on culvert units, precast concrete, drainage projects, or large-scale in situ pours.
We’re a small, hardworking team with a strong reputation built on honesty, high standards, and repeat clients — and we’re looking for the right person to become part of it long term.
What’s on offer:
Stable, long-term work with plenty happening
Huge variety of projects and sites
Supportive family-owned business that understands work/life balance
Opportunity to gain licences and grow your skills (WTR, Class 2/4 etc.)
Learn from an experienced operator with 30+ years in the industry
Weekly pay
Good gear, vehicles, PPE, and equipment supplied
Real opportunity to grow with the business for the right person
What we’re looking for:
Reliable and punctual — ready to start before the clock says go
Strong work ethic and good attitude
Honest, trustworthy, and able to communicate well
Can follow instructions and work safely unsupervised when needed
Someone who takes pride in doing things properly
Full Class 1 licence required
Must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing
WTR, machinery experience, or Class 4 are a bonus — but not essential
The role:
Based near Rangiora Canterbury
Typically 40–50 hours per week
7am starts generally, but flexibility is important in the concrete game
Some early starts and occasional later finishes depending on pours and site requirements
Mix of team-based and independent work across multiple sites
This team values good people, good communication, and hard work. Respect is earned, effort is recognised, and there’s genuine flexibility for the right person who wants to be part of a great family business with a strong future ahead.
If you’re looking for a role where no two weeks are the same and want to work with a crew that backs quality workmanship and loyalty — we’d love to hear from you.
