Honey-Sweetened Hot Cocoa (Winter Comfort)
Swap out refined sugar for the natural, velvety sweetness of Manuka honey. The herbal undertones of Manuka honey perfectly complement the rich bitterness of cocoa, creating a sophisticated dessert drink that feels like a warm hug.
Ingredients:
200ml milk (Full cream milk or oat milk are recommended for a creamier texture)
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1-2 tsp Onuku Mānuka Honey MGO 85+
Instructions:
Create a smooth base: Mix the cocoa powder with a small amount of warm milk in a cup until it forms a smooth, lump-free paste.
Heat the milk: Gradually add the rest of the milk and heat it until it is warm to your liking.
Sweeten with care: Remove from heat and let it cool slightly (to preserve the honey's natural enzymes). Stir in your Onuku Mānuka Honey MGO 85+ until fully dissolved. Enjoy!
