ACC Levy Changes from 1 April 2026

ACC has announced several updates to business levies that will take effect from 1 April 2026. Key changes include:

• The No Claims Discount will be removed
• Interest will apply to new levy instalment plans
• Late payment interest will change and will be calculated daily and compounded monthly

These changes may affect the amount and structure of future ACC levy invoices for employers and self-employed individuals.

📢 Smartly Payroll Pricing Update – From 1 April 2026

For clients using Smartly (DIY plan), there’s a small price increase coming into effect:

• Monthly base fee: $50 → $51.50
• Per employee per pay run: $2.50 → $2.60

There’s nothing you need to do — the new pricing will automatically apply

Any existing discounts on your base fee will continue and be applied to the new rate.
