How it all began…
A friend had to go into work and her husband was in hospital after just having surgery, she was feeling overwhelmed and needed some support. After going to her home and casting my eye on chores that needed to be done; hanging her washing out, emptying the dishwasher, vacuuming, wiping down her kitchen benches and folding her washing, I had left her house feeling that I had made
a small difference to her feelings of overwhelm and stress, it gave me a sense of satisfaction. This then gave me the idea of starting ‘Mary Pop-ins’ and offering my services to those who also feel how my friend did and to make a small difference in someone's day. On a personal note, as a Mother to two young children and running a part time seasonal business I know the feeling of overwhelm, stress and anxiety that the household chores can sometimes bring, and I would love to help others who feel the same.
