Hi everyone, thank you for continuing to keep me busy with all your bookings.

Regrettably, I need to advise an increase in rates from November 1st, 2022. I'd rather not have to do that to you all, but such is the way of the world at the moment. :s

My new rate will be $25/hr for up to four children. Additional children are $2 per child per hour.

Wow! I am booked solid for the next two weeks. Thanks for thinking of me when it comes to booking a babysitter, I really appreciate it... and I love that lots of parents are getting to go out and have some fun!

Good news exhausted parents! I am once again taking bookings for evening babysits.

I just require that all adults living in the house are fully vaccinated, and no one is currently unwell. This is not me trying to be discriminatory, but rather to protect my family and all those I babysit for.

I charge $20/hr between 7pm and midnight, and $25/hr outside of that.

I'm a Mum too, and I'm not about to just leave my kids with someone I don't know from a bar of soap. I hope these recommendations help give you some piece of mind in your quest to find a babysitter you can trust. 🙂

Yes, I am still available for babysitting. I charge $20/hr between 7pm and midnight, and $25/hr outside of that. This rate covers up to four children - extras are $2/hr per child. I’m available evenings from 6pm, on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula and Orewa, Hatfields, Silverdale and Dairy Flat.

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that I have recently done a rates review for the first time in eight years!

My new rates are as follows:
7pm - midnight: $20/hr
Before 7pm and after midnight: $25/hr

I hope you will understand that I need to make this adjustment to allow for inflation etc. I also have six years of parenting under my belt since my last increase, and eight years added maturity. ;)

I sometimes get asked: Why are you more expensive than my 16 year old neighbour?

You are paying for my age (32), life experience, four years of university, five years of motherhood, 18 years of babysitting and nannying, full teachers registration, first aid, and police check.... and ultimately, peace of mind. 🙂

(Although I'm noticing more and more these days that I actually am charging the same as lots of teenagers!)

My littlest babe is now eight months old and reliable enough with her bedtime routine that I can get back into some babysitting. I have a reasonably free schedule leading into Christmas and beyond, so get in touch to book me in for some babysits. (Available evenings only, from 7pm - midnight).
