Meet the Team: Shane (AKA "Koro")
You know him, you love him, and he really just wants you to use your indicators.
When we asked Koro his #1 piece of advice for drivers, he didn't hold back: "How to indicate at roundabouts. Come on people." (We feel your pain, Shane. We really do).
His favourite Northland destination is simply "Home," though he'd ideally like to commute there in a McLaren F1 GTR.
When he’s not keeping Whangarei moving, you’ll find him exercising or having a beer with friends, because as the man says: "It's all about balance." (Which is also what we do to your tyres. See what we did there?)

2025 Team of the Year Winner || Congratulations to the Northland Kauri!

The Northland Kauri delivered a standout 2025 season, earning their place in the Championship Final through determination and heart. Their dramatic semi-final victory over Wellington showcased their composure in high‑pressure moments and secured their shot at the title.

In the Championship Final against Otago, the Kauri fought bravely—holding Otago out with committed defence and battling their way to second‑half tries through Tyler Nankivell and Lily Murray-Wihongi, showing true Northland grit to the end.

Meet the Team: Bailey (AKA "The Good Side")

Bailey has elite taste in cars but the soul of a retired pensioner.
His dream garage? Flawless: A new Audi RS6, a '66 Ford Mustang Notchback, and a classic Land Rover Defender.
His driving playlist? Well... he’s more likely listening to talkback than chasing the latest Spotify hits.
And if he were stranded on a desert island with only one tool from the shop? He’s taking the torch, because he’d be scared in the dark.
