The significance of Waitangi and Te Tiriti (signed in 1840) are a fundamental part of why Ina Rawa as a brand came to be. Ina Rawa seeks to share Aotearoa, New Zealand with the world, and it is through agreements such as Te Tiriti that the partnership between Tangata Whenua and Tangata Tiriti can blossom to create stories with deeper meaning. I hope Ina Rawa becomes a brand that showcases the opportunities of honouring the knowledge to have come before us and strengthening the partnership that initially allowed my own whānau to call Aotearoa, New Zealand home. That feeling of nature, culture and people is exactly what we want to share.
