🚫 OIL + DREADS = NOT A GOOD MIX 🚫

These four week old dreads coming along great but had been suggested to use hair oil. This can seem like a good idea but please don’t oil or wax your dreads! Your maintenance is going to take much longer.

🧴 Oil attracts dirt and dust
🧴 Causes buildup inside the dread
🧴 Makes the hair slippery and MUCH harder to crochet
🧴 Can leave dreads heavy and greasy

Please ask me before adding products to your dreads. ❤️
