Each person has assets coming from their work and/or inheritance. Statistics say that people are not good at managing their assets and don't care to structure and protect what they have. Sometimes, they're more interested in insuring the iPhone, the car, or a trip. But little is thought about one's own heritage. However you have a legacy, inheritance or work, it is the sum of sacrifices and commitment. Life is unpredictable and the world we live in is complex and fast-paced. We need to take care of our Assets. My motto is: live where you want and work where you want. But the important thing is to think about how to structure and protect assets, both from a legal, fiscal and succession point of view. And when planning all of this, one should look for a harmonious design. There must be harmony in the structure, in the family, in the rules and in the taxation.

Una reunión muy interesante con la Superintendencia de Bancos de Panamá, el Superintendente Amauri Castillo y su Equipo, incluido Aldo Ariel Ríos y Aldo Stagnaro.
Discutimos el tema de las criptomonedas, la ley de Panamá y la experiencia Suiza (también Lugano plan B) y Europea.
Fue una buena comparación y estoy feliz de haber aportado nuestra experiencia.
En Panamá, el Anteproyecto de Ley n. 120 fue presentado por los parlamentarios Gabriel Silva, Juan Diego Vasquez, Zulay Rodriguez, Petita Ayarza, Itzi Atencio y Raul Fernandez.
Posteriormente se aprobó la Criptoley n. 697: ahora el Presidente Laurentino Cortizo tiene hasta el 10 de junio para firmarla o vetarla.
Si se firma, las Autoridades tienen 3 meses para reglamentar todos.
Aunque debido a problemas del GAFI y preocupaciones contra el lavado de dinero, parece que la ley no se firmará.

Very interesting meeting with the Superintendence of Banks of Panama, Superintendent Amauri Castillo and his team, including Aldo Ariel Ríos and Aldo Stagnaro.
We have discuss on the topic of cryptocurrencies, the law of Panama and the Swiss (also Lugano plan B) and European experiences.
It was a good comparison and I am happy to have contributed explaining our experience.
In Panama, the project of the ley No. 120 was presented by parliamentarians Gabriel Silva, Juan Diego Vasquez, Zulay Rodriguez, Petita Ayarza, Itzi Atencio y Raul Fernandez.
It was subsequently approved Crypto law n. 697: the President Laurentino Cortizo by June 10 have to sign or veto it.
If he signs it, the Authorities have 3 months to regulate everything.
Although due to GAFI problems and concerns against money laundering, it seems that the law will not be signed.
