You will never realize your full human form, which is creativity, until you are able to reconnect with your inner creator, and most of the times, it starts with little you.
Been talking a lot about your little creator and reconnecting and finding your purpose and pieces of you. It all sounds beautiful and cutesy. But I want to come now and be real and give some tips on how to actually connect with your little creator.
It took me a year of discovery to find my purpose and be happy with myself. And one of the hardest parts was facing my little creator and letting go of many, many things. I needed to forgive. I needed to forget, I needed to acknowledge, celebrate. I needed to do so many things. And value at the end of the tunnel who I was, and honor the dreams and aesthetic that I always wished for my life.
So. Here are some tips for writing to your little creator.
First, grab a piece of paper, a pen, or grab a digital notebook or just open a voice memo on your computer. And try to remember the moment that maybe you felt that you're not a kid anymore. You're growing up. That likely was the tipping point where you were at a crossroads and you needed to decide, do I grow up? Do I let go? Do I stay? Do I honor the little creator, little me? Try to think about that moment and just write to yourself.
Tip number two, you're writing to yourself, but write in an unapologetic way. Raw, real. If you're angry, you want to curse at the piece of paper, just do it. If you're mad at something that happened, do it. If you're happy about a memory, if you miss doing something, if there was something about your childhood that you love, just write about it and write to yourself.
Slowly but surely you're going to start finding core memories and feeling more, feeling that you can approach little you. Because maybe you feel like this is pointless, this is stupid, you're scared of talking to little you. Maybe you're embarrassed or afraid of something.
So you don't need to start talking to little you immediately, just talk to yourself the same way you would have spoken to yourself if you were a kid. The thoughts that you had. The aesthetic. That's a good start.
