Life took a real turn for me the past year. One of those shifts allows you to put all past shifts into context andg slowly create new mindsets.
I spent so many years struggling to find my footing in life, and yet 44 years, I found so much peace, comfort, and stability in my family, my boyfriend, peers, work, plants, coffee rituals, and knitting. Who knew?
The past year has been intense work with ; we have moved the workshop to a new place in the highlands, trying not to affect clients' production. It was hard man, but I have no words to express my gratitude to our sourcing clients for being such beautiful and empathic souls.
Also, being a mom to two teenage girls is beautiful and sometimes heart-wrenching because I feel like a mom and a dad simultaneously in this huge responsibility.
But this post is also a reminder of how amazing I'm doing now. I'm the boss of myself! I'm doing the job of my dreams; I decide when to stop or give up. Nobody pushes me down. I don't need to be believed or liked. So, I invite you to brag a little about yourself!
Soil&Co is still here; this baby of mine is my beloved reset button where I can play with stitches and yarns. A safe place to exchange creativity with talented artisans, friends, and you guys!
In the upcoming months, I’ll show you new crochet and hand-woven goodies, but meantime, you can find our timeless classic knits on the website. Some of them are available for delivery; others are made-to-order.
By the way, thanks to the Australian pals that are placing orders and believe in our ethos, and patiently await their made-to-order pieces!
