The fountain pen is Montblanc's tribute to the Renaissance ruler and patron of Leonardo da Vinci, who worked for the Duke of Milan for 15 years, creating "The Last Supper," among other masterworks
The design of the captop and endpiece is inspired by the architecture of the Castello Sforzesco. Sterling silver fittings and black lacquer ornamented with motifs inspired by Leonardo's ceiling frescoes at Sala delle Asse in the Sforza Castle in Milan.

Montblanc's 2009 Patron of the Arts series honors the renowned historian and archaeologist Max Freiherr von Oppenheim (1860–1946). His pioneering spirit of discovery is captured in every intricate detail of this refined limited edition fountain pen. The gold-plated rings are inspired by the motifs found at the entrance of Tell-Halaf, Oppenheim's most significant excavation. The body of the pen is crafted from 925 sterling silver and features a translucent grey lacquer, creating a three-dimensional mosaic pattern reminiscent of the region's traditional mosque architecture.

Esta pluma fuente Montblanc 107276, de edición limitada, es un homenaje al Monarca Joseph II, quien destacó por su compromiso cultural, en su calidad de Emperador del Sacro Imperio Romano Germánico. Joseph II fue el Monarca más progresista de Austria y gran defensor del arte.
En esta edición limitada Montblanc (de origen alemán) se puede observar los colores nacionales de Austria en laca roja y blanca, hermosos adornos dorados en la tapa y el cañón y un lujoso plumín de color champaña de oro de 18 K; delicadamente grabado con el escudo imperial de Joseph II.
