Our Philosophy

For over 20 years, our Tahiti Pearl Farm has produced some of the finest deep Black South Sea pearls on the island of Rikitea, in the furthest reaches of the Gambier Archipelago.

Our Family-run Farm covers 30 hectares, and employs about fifteen people. Annually we harvest about 200,000 pearls which are sold in our Sales Office in Papeete Tahiti.

Producing high-quality pearls demands a long-term vision, sound environmental stewardship and responsible farming practices. Pearl oysters are remarkably sensitive organisms. Following the grafting procedure our oysters are returned to thriving waters to offer them optimum growth conditions. The environment plays a fundamental role in oyster health but so do our pearl farming practices.

We use natural resources responsibly. We make sustainable use of renewable natural resources such as solar energy and conserve non-renewable natural resources through efficient use and careful planning. We safeguard all habitats in which we operate. We strive to conserve or in some instances restore biodiversity, ecosystem structure, and ecosystem services.
