Maybe the honorable member would need to upgrade it and have it seal according to standard requirements of NAC.
This is to avoid unfortunate incidents that may occur.
I also hope we have a fire engine truck and personal on stand by should we have an unfortunate incident.

In my vast experiences Management have to take ownership of OHS first and foremost from CEO to Senior Management Team.

The greatest disaster for Management primary flaw is so focus an concerned on productivity that they loose focus on Safety for their employees.
But the boomerang always return hauting them for the rest of their lives.

DO YOU KNOW WHY ALOT OF INCIDENTS EVEN FATALITES THAT GIVES HEADACHES TO THE MANAGEMENT TEAM?

In a nutshell it's because of the following,

1. Your organization is simply founded on the basis of the culture of Compliance in which employees have the mentality of " because I have to" instead of the Culture of commitment where employees have a mentality of " yes I want to"

The first one is founded on employees reactive and dependent on being told to follow safety procedures and the second is the employees take ownership as Teams and they are interdependent on each other.

If you have a lot of fatality then you have not crossed over to the other side.

Digicel please check your SMS top up system.
It appears there's foul play into someone pocket.

What the hell I used top up on my phone for 10kina 3x and these the message that reads Sorry you need more credit to buy K10 appears everytime.

BULSH*T...someones using the system to steal from common people.

So is Digicel a reliable company with right values?

I'm not using this system anymore.

Frustrated customer...

Travelling by seats the only cheapest made of travelling by common PNGeans.

But have you ever wonder why boat at missing, or even capsize?
Simply safety checks before travelling are oftened ignored.
Fuel checks, machine reliability checks, overload of passengers, weather, drunk operator tc.

The results, people die sadly small ignored safety checks results in another family losing a loved one

I guess 10 years of Safety experiences have one common denominator and that is

ASSESS RISKS AND SET CONTROLS TO MINIMISE POTENTIAL INJURY.

Coming 2022 will have risks in all areas of life. Students, workers, PMV owners, small boat owners, marriage life etc.

But unless we don't calculate the consequences and arrange our way forward we will always be liable to disaster, family problems, student problems health problems etc.

Let's began this year by being Pro- active.
