The Waigani Committal Court has struck out all charges against Investment Promotion Authority (IPA) Registrar of Companies, David A. Kil, ordering his immediate discharge. Senior Provincial Magistrate Albert Daniels dismissed the case after ruling that the police evidence was legally insufficient and the charges were defective. The IPA has welcomed the decision, which fully clears the head of its registry division of any wrongdoing after facing allegations of official corruption and abuse of office connected to his administrative duties.
