Celebrating Women!!!

Papua New Guinean women in 2015 have achieved various awards and recognition and we know you will appreciate the gradual rise in the status of our women throughout the country in the recent past. As such, PNG Women In Business Foundation (PNGWIB) is hosting a gala event, “Celebrating Women” to honour these achievements and milestones.

This occasion will also celebrate our very own Director and Founder of PNG Women In Business winning the WOW (Westpac Outstanding Woman of the Year) and APEC Iconic Woman awards this year and a dedication of these two awards to all who have contributed to Her and PNG WIB attaining these respective milestones. It will also be an opportunity to bring together women from all walks of life to share our success stories and ideas for the betterment and future of women and our country.

We would be honoured and humbly grateful if you would join us in these celebrations scheduled for Saturday December 5th at Gateway Hotel Function Room, starting at 7pm.
We look forward to continue working together for the development of our county in the future.

"I used to have a small market next to my house where I sold lollies, can drinks and biscuits. The money I made supported my children in university as well my general family upkeep. I became a pioneer member of the PNGWiB in 2007 (then City Mother's Foundation) and started to save up.
I now own a container shop where I sell food stuff, shoes, bags, printed laplaps and shirts."
