At my first day of TB warden training, I learned that TB is airborne and HIV is a sexually transmitted and blood borne virus. TB killed more than ten thousand Papua New Guineans last year, and thousands more died of untreated HIV infection. Last night I shared this information at a haus krai for which I was the MC. Most importantly, I told all my family members and friends, that all deaths from TB or HIV are preventable, if we support early testing and to free treatment. Nobody needs to die from TB or HIV in PNG. Got a question? Key Responsibilities:
-Deliver classroom and workshop training using modern methodologies.

Essential Requirements:
-Valid TAE Qualification (Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent).
-3–5 years industry experience.
-Strong knowledge of workplace safety standards.
-Experience in vocational education and training (TVET).
-Assessor accreditation and relevant industry licenses (where applicable).

We’re excited to share that boxes of reading books have been donated through Dion, who is also a registered Project Yumi volunteer based in Port Moresby. 🙌

Dion is currently working towards creating a community library for the people of 5 Mile, helping provide children and families with greater access to education and learning resources.
