Today, we remember all those who gave their lives during the Second World War in Papua New Guinea.

We honour the Papua New Guineans who served as soldiers, carriers, scouts and support personnel who endured great hardship. We also remember all servicemen and women from around the world who fought and fell in the jungles, mountains and coastlines of PNG.

From Kokoda and Milne Bay to Buna, Gona and Sanananda, these battlefields became the final resting place for many who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Their courage and service remain a continuous part of our shared history. As we observe this national day of remembrance, let us pause to honour their memory and reflect on the lasting value of peace, unity and reconciliation.

Saying goodbye to Karen Kave 👋

We gathered at our Logistics office for a small farewell kaikai to celebrate Karen, our Logistics and Procurement Manager.

Karen joined Oilmin in 2011 and was instrumental in helping to build the procurement systems we use across the company today. She’s stayed through it all, seen so many faces come and go, and has been the steady hand behind our logistics operations.

It’s hard to say goodbye, but we’re so grateful for 15 years of dedication, hard work, and heart.
