1. Support Information

We support each other by:

Safety First: Look out for your teammates and our trekkers. If someone is tired, sick, or struggling — speak up and help.
Respect & Equality: Every role is important — guide, porter, cook, driver, office. No one is above the team.
Open Help: If you need help with gear, language, first-aid, or personal problems, ask your Team Leader. No shame in asking.
Wellbeing: Rest well, eat well, stay hydrated. If you have an injury or family emergency, tell us early so we can support you.

Team Leader on track / Operations Manager in Port Moresby.

2. Collaboration for Teamwork

How we work together:

Communication: Clear, calm, and honest. Morning briefing every day at 6am. Evening debrief after camp is set.
One Team, One Pace: The team moves at the pace of the slowest member. We wait, we encourage.
Responsibilities Clear: Know your job for the day before we start. If unclear, ask.
Share Knowledge: Senior guides teach junior guides. Everyone learns — navigation, history, first-aid, customer care.
Problem Solving: Problem on track? Solve it together, not alone. No blame — fix first, learn after.
Respect Culture & Customer: Show respect to our land, our ancestors, our villages, and our trekkers.
