The reason why we need to invest using investment vehicles is for us to reach our financial goals faster.

Rule of 72 says that if you divide 72 by the interest rate of your current savings/investments, the answer is the number of years your money will double.

If you invest in 4%: 72/4= 18 years
If you invest in 8%: 72/8= 9 years
If you invest in 12%: 72/12= 6 years

If you invest in 1%: 72/1= Your money doubles in 72 years.

This means that if You have 10,000.00 savings now in a 1% annual interest, Your money will become 20,000.00 after 72 years. I hope that You're still alive when that time comes.

What is an EMERGENCY FUND and why is it IMPORTANT?

An EMERGENCY FUND is a reserved amount of money savings that one puts aside and is only considered for use in the case that regular income becomes disrupted.

It saves you in those times of financial distress and helps you stay above water until things hopefully go back to normal.

Typically, financial experts suggest that you should have at least 6 months worth of expenses in this fund.

Therefore, if you ever lost your job and your income halted, you would be able to maintain for at least half a year while searching for a new one.

Having children who gives voluntarily is a blessing, do not make it a burden for them.

No one is responsible for your own life except you. Let us break the cycle of dependency.
