PMSC Community College Scholar Graduates with Honors Through SDMP Support
Alcoy, Cebu — This year marks a proud milestone for the PMSC Community College Scholarship Program as its pioneer scholar, Jovelyn Incila, successfully completed her studies and graduated with flying colors. Her remarkable achievement was made possible through the company’s Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), which continues to empower students by providing vital educational assistance.
Jovelyn’s journey is a testament to resilience, determination, and the transformative impact of accessible education. As she celebrates this accomplishment, she extends her heartfelt gratitude to the SDMP and the people who stood by her throughout her college years.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." — Proverbs 3:5–6
This college journey taught me that getting through school requires God’s wisdom and true focus. I learned to keep my eyes on my goals and ignore other people’s opinions, because their opinions do not define my life or my future. I chose to trust the way I am growing and realized that failing is not the real problem, the real failure is being too afraid to try. Every challenge I faced was just a test to make me stronger, and today, I can truly say that it was all worth it.
I may be the one receiving the diploma, but I could never have finished this alone without the amazing people around me.
To my parents, Ma and Pa: Thank you for always being there for me and for loving me no matter what. Your support kept me going when things got hard.
To the PMSC Community College Scholarship Program: Thank you for giving me the financial support I needed to sustain my studies from day one. I am deeply grateful for the privilege of being one of your scholars. Words are not enough to express my appreciation for this program. You never grew tired of checking in on our college life, asking about our grades, updating us about our monthly allowance, and what I like most is this message , “Good morning scholars. Your allowance for this month is now available.” 🥹 Honestly, we were struggling financially, and if I had not qualified for this program, I don’t know if I would have been able to pursue college at all.
This scholarship has truly been life-changing for me. In return, I gave my best to finish this college journey, and I look forward to more milestones ahead. 🎓
