Big things are happening for PALF! 🌱✨

We were proud to welcome the delegation from Philippine Fiber Industry Development Authority (PhilFIDA), led by Ramil B. Barcelona – OIC Deputy Executive Director, together with Manolito F. Apalla (Special Assistant for TAD Programs, Projects & Activities), Norberto T. Solano Jr. (OIC, Regulatory Division), Engr. Senry John Baral (Engineer I), and Marvin A. Tadlas β€” a powerful show of support for advancing Philippine natural fibers.

We were equally excited to host our global partners from Guatemala, Daniela Sagastume Kuhlow and Kevin Kuhlow, Co-Founder of Pina & Kakaw, strengthening international collaboration in pineapple fiber innovation.

A heartfelt thank you to the Municipality of Alfonso β€” Hon. Mayor Randy A. Salamat, Hon. Vice Mayor Madonna M. Pel, and Konsi Jeff Salamat (Committee on Agriculture) β€” for championing agricultural innovation in our community.

From farm waste to world-class fabric β€” together, we are building the future of Philippine Agricultural Leaf Fiber! πŸ‡΅πŸ‡β™»οΈπŸŒ

We are deeply honored and grateful to the Municipality of Laurel Batangas for choosing Pilipinya Agercolo Leaf Fiber (PALF) as your partner in sustainable uniforms and local innovation. πŸŒΏπŸπŸ‡΅πŸ‡

Your support is more than a procurement decision β€” it is a powerful statement that Laurel believes in:

βœ… Align with Philippine Tropical Fabric Law R.A 9242

βœ… Supporting Filipino-made innovation

βœ… Empowering local farmers through pineapple leaf fiber

βœ… Promoting environmental responsibility

βœ… Creating impact-driven uniforms with purpose

By choosing PALF, the Municipality of Laurel is helping turn agricultural waste into opportunity β€” transforming discarded pineapple leaves into sustainable, high-quality fabrics that represent both professionalism and progress.

This partnership strengthens our mission: to make sustainability wearable and to make every uniform a symbol of local pride.

Maraming salamat po sa tiwala. Together, we are building a greener and more resilient future for Batangas and beyond. πŸŒ±πŸπŸ‡΅πŸ‡

The challenge today is not just uniformsβ€”it’s sourcing materials that are local, sustainable, and law-compliant.

Pineapple leaves in our province are currently wasted. PALF converts this agricultural waste into usable fiber, supporting farmers, reducing pollution, and helping LGUs comply with RA 9242β€”all while keeping value within the local economy.
