• Ensure all entry points - doors, windows, and gates, are
securely locked and double-checked before departure.
• Unplug non-essential appliances to reduce the risk of
electrical hazards and conserve energy.
• Notify a trusted neighbor, relative, or building administrator
of your absence and expected return.
• Refrain from sharing real-time travel updates on social media
to avoid advertising an unoccupied property.
• Consider requesting a security check-in or patrol coverage
from your local barangay or HOA security team.
2. Safety Guidelines While Traveling
• Plan your route in advance and inform a trusted contact of
your estimated travel schedule.
