👉🏻 Candidates from all Express Entry managed programs, such as the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), are taken into consideration for a general draw.

👉🏻 The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score for the draw on January 10 was 546, which was four points more than the last all-program draw, which took place on December 18, 2023.

🇨🇦 Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued invitations to apply (ITAs) in the sixth Express Entry draw of the month.

👉🏻 The department invited 400 candidates to apply in category-based selection draw for candidates in agriculture and agri-food occupations.

👉🏻 In order to qualify for an ITA, candidates had to have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 386.

👉🏻 It was the second draw to target farming and food occupations following the announcement of occupation-specific invitations—the previous draw, on September 28, featured 600 ITAs and a minimum CRS score of 354.

🇨🇦 Canada has issued 1,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in a new Express Entry draw targeting trade occupations.

👉🏻 The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score for the fifth Express Entry draw of the month was 425 points on December 19, which took place after more than a month without a draw.

⭐️ Immigration candidates with experience in trades occupations were among the top beneficiaries of Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residence in Canada last year, according to the 2022 year-end Express Entry report.

⭐️ This suggests that the federal government was seeking to admit immigrants who can cover labour shortages in the skilled trades to this nation even before category-based draws were implemented.
