Negros First CyberCentre

Negros First CyberCentre A three-storey IT-BPO Complex accredited by the PEZA along Lacson Cor. Hernaez Streets, right in the It can house up to 10 small-scale BPOs.

To contribute to the real-estate readiness of Bacolod and the whole province, the provincial govern-ment has embarked of a major project called โ€œNEGROS FIRST CYBERCENTREโ€ โ€“ 3-storey IT-BPO mixed-use complex. Accredited on September 16, 2011 by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), this major landmark will soon be issued a proclamation by the Office of the President as Information Technolo

gy Center, where investors can avail of economic zone incentives. It is to be located within the 4-hectares Paglaum Sports Complex grounds along Lacson Corner Hernaez Streets, Bacolod City. Constructed on 2 hectares portion of lot, the facility will offer as much as 2.2 hectares or almost 22,000 square meters of mixed commercial and IT-BPO spaces. These translate to a gross rental income of about 90 Million a year and about 6,000 direct jobs and 20,000 indirect jobs within the next five years. With the goal to further improve the ecosystem for ICT-BPO investments, the provincial government is developing this biggest IT complex in Bacolod as a compact facility suitable for up to 3,000 work stations. The facility is aimed to be completed in the second quarter of 2013. The project is composed of 2 buildings, one along Lacson Street and another along Hernaez Street, to meet in the corner. To ensure smooth traffic, an interior road will be made at the back of the buildings leading to the parking areas and back entrances. It is envisioned to house about 50 reputable commercial establishments carrying a variety of services from food, retail services, health and wellness, hair and skin care, commercial and travel services, RTWs and fashion, sports and leisure and many more. Located in the heart of downtown Bacolod, along the major road of Lacson and Hernaez streets, the project is expected to draw a lot of crowd to these commercial establishments which will be invited to occupy about 50 rentable spaces in the ground floor of the 2 buildings. The second and third floors are rentable BPO spaces which will be designed to suit the requirements of BPO companies. The original layout shows 3 BPO companies per floor for the Lacson building to occupy and average of 1,500 sqm, and 2 BPO companies per floor for the Hernaez Building to occupy an average of 1,000 sqm. The facility can therefore house 10 BPO companies. But the design may also allow a BPO company to lease and combine several spaces to accommodate a minimum of two large-scale BPOs.
