This client for a high-value B2B safety equipment supplier which has worked with us for 3 years has again posted a double-digit growth year vs year. Despite a decrease in the number of products and the advent of lockdowns, the team has been able to grow the number of QUALIFIED leads.

Our research-based on our 2008 experience shows the same reasons why advertisers tend to hedge on paid advertising - the ability to be measured and scaled/controlled.

Though there were some interesting insights between the behavior of the consumer and marketers which made us understand to make a healthy mix between the 2 channels is important.

"The survey thus reveals a gap of sorts between these marketer-respondents and consumers. The fact that the marketers preferred paid search to SEO, I suspect, has to do with the greater sense of control and trackability that paid search offers"
