Ginahulat na lang sang Iloilo Provincial Veterinary Office ang resulta halin sa Bureau of Animal Industry - Animal Disease Diagnosis and Reference Laboratory matapos ginpadala ang blood samples sang mga baboy nga nakabatyag sang sintomas sang African Swine Fever.
Sa interview sang Bombo Radyo kay Provincial Veterinarian Dr. Darel Tabuada, iya ginpahayag nga ang mga blood samples ang halin sa mga baboy sa piggery sa banwa sang Oton.
Ginpadulongan naman ni Dr. Tabuada kaupod si Oton Mayor Sofronio Fusin ang barangay nga may ginasuspetsahan nga kaso sang ASF para magpatigayon sang ocular inspection.
Nagpamalibad ang natungdan nga hingadlan ang barangay.
