Today's Devotion ! 09/05/2k26

“O God, You are my God; earnestly I seek You; I thirst for You, my whole being longs for You, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.” — Psalm 63:1

David was in a difficult and dry place when he wrote this Psalm. Yet instead of focusing only on his problems, "he focused his heart on God".

Ang sinabi ni David ay parang ganito:

“Lord, Ikaw ang kailangan ko. Hinahanap Kita. Nauuhaw ang puso ko sa Iyo.”

This teaches us that our deepest need is not always material things, success, money, or comfort. "Our soul ultimately needs God."

Notice David's words: “I seek You” and “I thirst for You.”

Sometimes we try to fill the emptiness in our hearts with achievements, relationships, possessions, entertainment, or other things.

Only God can satisfy the deepest thirst of our soul.

It means that God must remain our greatest need and highest priority.

Ask yourself:

* Kapag may problema ako, kanino ako unang tumatakbo?

Psalm 63:1 reminds us to develop a daily hunger for God.

1. Before checking our phones, let us learn to seek God.

2. Before worrying about tomorrow, let us pray.
Before making decisions, let us ask for His wisdom.

3. And when life feels dry and difficult, let us remember that God is still our God.

Forgive me for the times when I seek other things more than I seek You.

Kapag ako ay nauuhaw sa acceptance, success, comfort, or material things, remind me that only You can truly satisfy my soul.

Teach me to seek You every day—not only when I have problems, but even when everything is going well.

Help me to desire You more than anything this world can offer.

Lord, Ikaw ang aking source, Ikaw ang aking satisfaction, at Ikaw ang aking greatest treasure.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

When your soul feels empty, don’t just look for something to fill it—look for God.

Isaiah 40:29

“He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.”

Your weakness is not the end. It can be the place where you experience God's strength.

One day at a time. One step at a time. With God.

You may be tired, but you are not alone.
You may be weak, but God is still strong.
Keep going. Keep trusting. Keep praying.

God will give you the strength you need for today.

Today's Devotion ! 09/03/2k26

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” — 2 Timothy 3:16

Paul reminds Timothy that "all Scripture comes from God". The Bible is not merely a collection of human ideas, stories, or opinions. It is God-breathed—inspired by God and given to guide His people.

The Word of God is useful in every area of our spiritual life. It teaches us what is true, rebukes us when we are wrong, corrects our direction, and trains us to live a righteous life.

This verse teaches us that the Bible is not only meant to be read—it is meant to transform us.

Sometimes, God's Word encourages us. Sometimes it challenges us. Sometimes it reveals our mistakes and shows us what needs to change. But whether it comforts or corrects us, God's purpose is always to bring us closer to Him and make us more like Christ.

But correction from God's Word is not meant to destroy us—it is meant to restore and strengthen us.

Ask yourself:

How important is God's Word in my daily life?

If we only open the Bible when we have problems, we may miss the daily guidance God wants to give us.

Let us make God's Word part of our everyday life:

* Read it to know God's truth.

* Listen to it with an open heart.

* Obey it even when it is difficult.

* Apply it in our decisions and relationships.

* Allow it to correct us when we are going the wrong way.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for giving us Your Word. Thank You because through the Bible, You teach us, correct us, guide us, and train us to live according to Your will.

Lord, give us a heart that loves Your Word. Help us not only to read it but to understand, believe, and obey it. When Your Word exposes our mistakes, give us humility to accept correction. When we are confused, guide us through Your truth. When we are weak, strengthen us through Your promises.

Let Your Word transform our hearts, our thoughts, our decisions, and our daily lives.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

The Bible is not simply a book we read; it is God's Word that reads our hearts and transforms our lives.

WAIT… BEFORE YOU SCROLL—SEPTEMBER IS HERE.

And maybe this is your little reminder: God has carried you this far.

The past months may have been a mix of answered prayers, disappointments, silent battles, and unexpected blessings. But somehow, nandito ka pa rin. And that is already something to be grateful for.

As the Ber Months begin, may your heart be filled with peace, your home with love, and your days with God's provision.

Hindi man natin alam kung ano ang naghihintay hanggang December, we can trust the One who already knows.

Happy Ber Months

May God make the remaining months of 2026 beautiful in ways you never expected.

A NEW LIFE IN CHRIST

“We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” — Romans 6:4

Paul teaches that when we put our faith in Jesus Christ, we are united with Him in His death and resurrection.

Hindi lamang ito pagbabago ng panlabas na gawain; it represents an inward transformation of the heart.

Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. Because of Him, believers are called to leave their old sinful way of living and walk in a new life that honors God.

Notice the words “buried with Him” and “raised… to live a new life.”

We are still growing and learning. But our direction changes.

The resurrection of Jesus gives us hope that our lives can be transformed by God's grace.

* From hatred → to forgiveness
* From bitterness → to grace
* From pride → to humility
* From selfishness → to love
* From sinful habits → to obedience
* From hopelessness → to hope in God

He gives us a new life centered on Him.

In Jesus' name, Amen.”

Your past may explain where you came from, but it does not have to determine where you are going.

It is about being transformed.

Every day, choose to leave the old ways behind and walk with Jesus.

You are not called to live the old life again—you are called to live the NEW LIFE Christ has given you.

Old life buried. New life begins. Christ is now at the center.

Today's Devotion ! 09/01/2k26

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.” — Psalm 34:19

This verse reminds us of an important truth: being righteous or faithful to God does not mean we will never experience problems. The Bible honestly tells us that the righteous will face many afflictions—trials, disappointments, pain, rejection, and difficult seasons.

But the verse does not end with the problem. It ends with God’s deliverance.
“...the LORD delivereth him out of them all.”

God remains faithful, and He is able to deliver and sustain His people.

Notice the contrast:

* “Many are the afflictions…”

Maraming pagsubok.

* “…but the LORD delivereth…”

Ngunit ang Panginoon ang nagliligtas at umaalalay.

Our trials may be many, but God's power is greater.

Psalm 34:19 reminds us that difficulties are not always a sign that God has abandoned us.

Faith does not mean the absence of trouble; faith means trusting God in the middle of trouble.

Perhaps today you are facing financial difficulties, family problems, rejection, failure, disappointment, or uncertainty about your future.

Remember: Your current situation is not the final chapter of your story.

God may not always remove the difficulty immediately, but He can give you strength to endure, wisdom to respond, peace to continue, and ultimately deliverance according to His will and timing.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for reminding me through Psalm 34:19 that even when I face many troubles, You are still with me.

Lord, help me not to measure Your presence by the absence of problems. Instead, teach me to recognize Your presence even in the middle of my trials.

I surrender my worries, fears, and burdens to You.

I believe that You are greater than every problem I face.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Many may be our troubles, but greater is the God who walks with us through them.

Today's Devotion ! 08/31/2k26

“Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.” — Psalm 68:19

“Daily” means bawat araw.

Notice the beautiful truth: God carries us daily.

We still pray, work, obey, and do our part. But we do these things with God, not apart from God.

Heavenly Father,

We surrender them to You.

At kapag mabigat ang aming puso, remind us that You are carrying us every single day.

Teach us to praise You not only when life is easy, but even when life is difficult.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God is carrying you today.

THE JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH

“Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” — Nehemiah 8:10

Rather, we can have joy even in difficult circumstances because God remains faithful.

Let God be your strength.

It means that even while we are hurting, we choose to trust God.

Heavenly Father,

Salamat dahil Ikaw ang aking source of strength.

Teach me not to depend only on my own strength. Tulungan Mo akong magkaroon ng joy that comes from knowing You and trusting Your promises.

Kapag may problema, bigyan Mo ako ng peace.
Kapag may pagsubok, bigyan Mo ako ng courage.
Kapag ako ay nanghihina, ipaalala Mo sa akin na the joy of the Lord is my strength.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Reflection for Today

The joy of the Lord is not the absence of problems—it is the presence of God in the middle of our problems.

“God’s Ways Are Higher Than Ours”

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
- Isaiah 55:8–9

God reminds us that His thoughts and ways are far greater than ours.

Minsan, we think we know what is best for our lives. We make plans, set timelines, and expect God to answer our prayers in a certain way. But there are times when God allows things to happen differently from what we expected.

Hindi ibig sabihin na wala Siyang ginagawa.

It means God sees what we cannot see.
He knows the beginning, the middle, and the end of our story.

Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, God's wisdom is infinitely higher than human wisdom.

There will be moments when we ask:

* Lord, bakit ganito?

* Bakit hindi Mo sinagot ang prayer ko?

* Bakit kailangan kong pagdaanan ito?

Isaiah 55:8–9 teaches us to respond with trust instead of doubt.

Sometimes, what looks like a “no” may be God's protection.

What looks like a “delay” may be God's preparation.

What looks like a "closed door" may be God's redirection.

Remember: God's plan is not limited by what we can see today.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You because Your thoughts are higher than my thoughts and Your ways are higher than my ways. Forgive me when I become impatient because I do not understand what You are doing.

Teach me to trust You even when Your answer is different from what I expected. Help me surrender my plans, fears, questions, and worries to You.

Kapag hindi ko naiintindihan ang nangyayari, tulungan Mo akong maniwala na You are still working. Give me faith to follow You, patience to wait for You, and courage to accept Your will.

I may not understand Your plan, but I choose to trust Your heart.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

His ways are higher, His wisdom is greater, and His plans are always worth trusting.

Kung hindi mo makita ang buong larawan, trust the One who can.

God sees what you cannot see.

God knows what you do not know.

And God is able to lead you where you need to be.
