I am Carmela Rose Cardines. I was a Customer Service Representative.
I decided to go home-based because I am a first-time mom, my son is turning two and I wanted to be a hands-on mom. I wanted to witness all of his milestones. I just really wanted to be there with him when he needed me.
I choose FVA because I've been following the FVA page for so long. I have been reading a lot of good feedback and testimonies about FVA. So I decided to enroll in one of the courses. I enrolled in the Freelancing Course in FVA under Coach Julmar Grace Locsin.
My experience with FVA Online Academy is very user friendly. Even if you're not really knowledgeable about computers it's really easy to navigate. All of the things you need to learn are there.
Yes, of course, I recommend FVA because of being approachable and nice coaches, easy to manage the system.
The highlights of my being a Freelancer, before I was really clueless and very doubtful about my skills but now I'm more confident.
The challenges that I went through along the way is time management. I still have an office job so it's hard to submit portfolios on time.
As a Freelancer, I'm thankful that I can be a full-time mom and an employee at the same time.
My advice to other people who want to be successful in freelancing, Never stop learning and trust your skills.”
