The Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA) will implement the Expanded Special Resident Retiree’s Visa (SRRV) Program starting September 1, 2025. Under this update, the current SRRV scheme will be discontinued, and all new applications will be processed in line with the revised program guidelines. Current SRRV holders are not covered by this change.

𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗣𝗥𝗔'𝘀 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸:
Applicants who wish to proceed under the existing process must submit their Letter of Introduction on or before August 15, 2025. Submissions received after this date will be evaluated under the Expanded SRRV Program.

𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 (𝗗𝗕𝗣):
Applicants who have already processed their visa deposit through DBP are encouraged to email the copies of the remittance form from the originating bank and passport bio page through [email protected]

The Philippine Retirement Authority reminds all foreign retirees that senior citizen benefits and privileges, including the 20% discount and VAT exemption are exclusively for Filipino citizens aged 60 and above.

Misrepresentation or fraudulent use of senior citizen IDs may result in criminal prosecution, cancellation of immigration status, or deportation.
