As the pandemic rages on, bringing unprecedented economic and mental hardships, many people need mental health care but lack the financial means to get checked by a professional. This can lead to untreated symptoms of mental disorders and even su***de. In just the first semester of 2021, 19 su***de incidents were logged in Baguio City (Reference: City Social Welfare and Development Office).

The Marlon Reston Mental Health Warrior Fund is named after the mental health warrior and advocate known to many as "Kuya Marl". It is an independent initiative under The 100% Attitude Project and aims to increase access to quality mental health services by providing financial assistance for psychological and psychiatric consultations. It is primarily funded by Monthly Monsoon, a Baguio-based artisan business and social enterprise.
