ientele nor its end products. PMP was culled from the belief that art is universal; that creativity is not confined to the equipments we use or the prestige of a brand. PMP is not photography for the poor. It is photography for the rich or poor, young or old, straight or gay. When we photograph weddings, we photograph love. When we take portraits, we capture character. Although we agree that a high tech camera and a sophisticated lighting system is key to achieving perfect shots, they are not the end-all and be-all of beautiful photographs. A true artist sees the emotion behind an image, not the technology. And that is where we come in. We still aim to learn modern techniques and acquire state-of-the-art gadgetry -and we will. When we visualize a photo, we don't think about Speedlights, we think about light -for a visionary sees not the convention but the element in its purest essence. That is Poor Man's Photography.
