The most convenient and economical, stylish, without a doubt beautiful dormitory-style housing available near Saint Louis University, Baguio City - Built in a way to provide a safe and wholesome place for students that is conducive to studying. Since the owner is a doctor, he had had his own clinic in the Heritage Building ( # 1). As time passed by, the owners decided to build two other buildings,
which are now the Cuesta 2 and 3 Bldgs. After years of the original dormitory's existence, together with the apartments in the two latter buildings - virtually catering to students and managed by Mrs. Orly de la Cuesta, the eldest of the seven (7) siblings built the newest building (Cuesta 4) in which the modern ladies dormitory is now located. This unique dormitory, loaded with full size reproductions of the most famous paintings in the world, has been established with one single purpose and that is: TO PROVIDE A WHOLESOME AND PLEASANT PLACE FOR ITS RESIDENTS TO STAY - WHICH IS CONDUCIVE TO STUDYING. TIMELINE
1970 ¬ Dr. Mamerto and Mrs. Remedios Cuesta established Cuesta in which his medical clinic was, together with pharmacy at the first floor. In the later years, the couple decided to add more two more buildings (Cuesta 2 and 3). The three (3) buildings became the Cuesta Residential and Commercial Complex which were being managed by Mrs. Cuesta and her seven (7) children.
2012 - The latest building (Cuesta 4) houses the unique Cuesta Heritage Ladies' Dormitory has things that no other dormitory in the country has, including a piano, full size reproductions of the paintings by the great masters (viz: Michaelangelo, da Vinci, Renoir, Van Gogh, Boticelli, Tintoretto, Matisse, Monet, Manet etc. and a roof deck garden - considered to be the best in the City of Baguio. The Cuesta Heritage Dormitory shall provide its female student boarders quality quarters and accommodations to help create a place conducive for learning and help them become civic-minded, morally upright and useful citizens in service of their nation and countrymen. VISION
