GBBDP Accreditation | Batch 3 On-Site Validations – Samal, Balanga City & Pilar

On May 12, 2026, the Galing! Bataan Brand Development Program – Technical Working Group carried out its Batch 3 on-site validations, visiting aspiring MSMEs from Samal, Balanga City and Pilar.

The validation team assessed product quality, production processes, packaging, and overall brand readiness of participating enterprises including JML Trading, Bataan Shell Craft Trading, and Mhersayan Design Studio and Merchandise. More than a validation activity, each visit became an opportunity to connect with local entrepreneurs who continue to showcase creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation through proudly Bataeño products.

Through the Galing! Bataan Brand Development Program, MSMEs are guided and empowered to strengthen their brands and become more competitive in wider markets.

On May 7, the Technical Working Group of the Galing! Bataan Brand Development Program conducted its first round of on-site validations for MSMEs that submitted their applications.

These visits are an essential step toward becoming a 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠! 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧-𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐒𝐌𝐄, as the team assessed each business’s operations, facilities, and branding readiness — all in line with the program’s mission to uplift homegrown enterprises by strengthening brand identity, enhancing product quality, and expanding market reach.

Galing! Bataan Brand Development Program—Accredited MSMEs Meeting was held yesterday, February 4, 2025.

Aligned with our province's vision of enhancing the branding program, the meeting focused on key updates, including the implementation guidelines for the new Galing! Bataan Seal and the re-accreditation process for currently accredited MSMEs. This initiative aims to strengthen the identity and quality of Galing! Bataan products, ensuring that our MSMEs continue to uphold the excellence of Bataan.

The Galing! The Bataan Brand Development Program (GBBDP) application for accreditation will soon be open to all MSMEs in the province engaged in food and non-food manufacturing, providing more businesses with the opportunity to be part of this initiative and benefit from the branding program.

Also present were GBBDP-Technical Working Group members, including Ms. Catalina V. de Leon-Cruz of DOST PSTO-Bataan and Ms. Cindy Jaime of DTI-Bataan, who shared valuable insights and support.
