The Cooperative Union of Batangas (CUB), through Executive Officer Myra P. Ebora, was honored to serve as guest speaker during the LPU Batangas General Work Immersion Orientation for Senior High School students held on August 17, 2026.

This engagement reflects the strong and continuing partnership between CUB and LPU Batangas, which has been providing valuable work immersion opportunities for years and was renewed in February 2026.

CUB is proud to support the development of young learners by sharing knowledge, values, and workplace insights as they prepare for their future careers.

The training titled "Audit Committee Functions and the Conduct of Audit in Cooperatives" was successfully conducted on August 17, 2026, at the conference room of PG-ENRO.

The activity was initiated by the CUB Audit Committee, with its Chairperson, Mrs. Arlene Bagsit, serving as the resource person. The session featured the CUB audit manual, along with workshops using practical scenarios designed to develop and strengthen audit measures that committee members can apply in their respective cooperatives.

The engaging discussions and active participation of audit committee members and officers from various member-cooperatives made the activity meaningful and productive reinforcing the important role of audit in promoting accountability, transparency, and good governance in cooperatives.

Bilang katuwang na kooperatiba, naging bahagi ang Cooperative Union of Batangas (CUB) sa matagumpay na isinagawang Owners’ Forum ng 1CISP noong Agosto 7, 2026, na ginanap sa One Tagaytay Place Hotel Suites, Tagaytay City.

Dinaluhan ito ng mga kinatawan mula sa mga kasaping kooperatiba ng 1CISP mula sa Rehiyon IV at Rehiyon V. Tampok sa forum ang mga makabuluhang pag-uulat, pagsasanay o "learning sessions", gayundin ang pagkilala at paggawad ng parangal sa mga natatanging kooperatiba sa iba't ibang kategorya.

Ang CUB ay kinatawan ng mga kawani nito na naging bahagi ng programa bilang katuwang sa koordinasyon at daloy ng programa.

The training was honored by the presence of Hon. On July 20, 2026, member-cooperative representatives gathered at the conference room of PG-ENRO for the training on Credit & Collection Managemet, where Mr. Gener Crisostomo Rivera served as the resource person.

The session provided participants with a deeper understanding of the fundamentals of credit & collection management, complemented by practical insights, real-world applications and strategies for maintaining a sound and sustainable credit operation.

The Ownership Meeting of Pinamukan Silangan MPC was successfully conducted on July 9, 2026, at the covered court within the cooperative's community.

CUB Executive Officer, Mrs.Myra Ebora, attended the activity and served as resource person. She led an inspiring discussion that refreshed the member's understanding of the cooperative's values, principles, and the importance of active ownership.

The event was also attended by Mrs. Ruby Olaso, General Manager of Tulo MPC, the partner cooperative of Pinamukan Silangan MPC under the "Koop Kapatid"Pogram. During the meeting the members were introduced to the objectives and benefits of the program, and how it supports the growth and development of beneficiary cooperatives.

The members openly expressed their support and cooperation through their pledge of commitment to increasing the cooperative's capital, strengthening member participation, and working together toward achieving a higher cooperative category.
