DepEd Bataraza Aims to Increase Literacy Rate for Grade School Learners, Opens Collaboration for Public-Private Partnership for Educational Development

A hybrid reinforcement mechanism program for district wide literacy initiatve tagged as "Batang Bataraza Bumabasa" is set to fill the gaps for the literacy rate amongst grade school pupils in the municipality.

The program seeks to open opportunities and long-term partnership for community development sector in the municipality and the province by looking into the components such as Data facility, Reading Materials Distribution and Curation, Training and Development, Linkage and Stakeholders, Awards and Recognition, Monitoring and Evaluation, Information and Research and Development.

As player in the educational development, we have been contributing to the delivery of quality education for Palaweños through our tax remittances where School Education Fund (SEF) is integrated, Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) and Corporate Social Responsiblity (CSR) initiative tagged now as "SDMP+".

Kasalang Barangay sa Pamayanan ng Inogbong, Bataraza, Matagumpay na Idinaos Tungo sa Isang Mas Matatag na Komunidad

Family is a small unit of society. Ang pamilya ay bahagi ng isang mas malawak na lipunan. Ang pagsuporta sa mga programang social services ay bahagi ng pagpapatibay ng isang komunidad bilang parte ng pagpapatupad ng aming Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) - Development of Host and Neighboring Communities (DHNC) alinsunod sa batas pagmimina.

Nagpapasalamat kami sa leadership ni Hon. Mayor Al-Shariff W. Ibba ng LGU-Bataraza, Palawan sa pangunguna ng seremonya upang maisakatuparan ang kasalang Barangay tungo sa isang lumalagong bayan sa mga aspeto ng populasyon, pagkakaisa, respeto sa kultura at pagpapalakas ng ekonomiya.

Rural Electrification Project, Magbibigay Liwanag sa Katutubong Pamayanan ng Brgy. Malihud, Bataraza, Palawan

Sa pamamagitan ng aming Social Development and Management Program (SDMP)-Development of Host and Neigboring Communities (DHNC), sinisikap naming abutin ang mga malalayong komunidad upang makapagbigay ng sinag ng liwanag tungo sa isang mas matatag na pamumuhay. 24 households ang napagkalooban ng solar set sa pakikipagtulungan ng Tribal council ng katutubong komunidad.

Para sa amin, mahalaga na inklusibo ang mga programa para sa lahat ng sektor ng lipunan.

2026 Environment Health Impact Assessment (EHIA), Isinagawa sa ilang mga Barangays sa bayan ng Bataraza

Upang makatulong sa pagpapahusay ng mga programang pang-kalikasan at pang-kalusugan, gayundin sa pag-agapay sa kabuuang public health surveillance, isinagawa ng isang third party experts ang EHIA sa ating ilang bilang ng mga empleyado, sa mga respondents mula sa Barangays Rio Tuba, Ocayan, Sandoval at Iwahig gayundin sa mga Barangays ng Puring at Bulalacao.

Katuwang din sa aktibidad na ito ang aming mga opisina mula sa Mine Environment and Enhancement Department (MEPED), Community Relations (ComRel) at Occupational Health section.

Taganito HPAL Nickel Corporation-Community Relations (THPAL) has turned over a P127-million community hospital to the Municipality of Claver, Surigao del Norte, strengthening healthcare services for its host communities. The project was funded through the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) program and Social Development and Management Program (SDMP).

The facility was formally handed over by THPAL President Naoki Kawai and Taganito Mining Corp. - TMC COO Artemio E. Valeroso to Claver Mayor Georgia D. Gokiangkee, highlighting the partnership between the mining industry and government in expanding access to public healthcare.

League of Local Budget Officers Palawan (LLBOP) Learn from Best Practices in Governance, Responsible Mineral Development and Environmental Integrity

The budget officers from the 23 mainland and island municipalities of Palawan stretching from Balabac to Cagayancillo, express interest in learning how we conduct the standards of responsible mining, to eventually transcribing provincial-wide community benefits from our taxes remittances, indigenous peoples welfare development, implementation of projects and activities in Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), Environmental Protection and Enhancement Program (EPEP), solid waste and land use management.
