Achieving work life balance while working from home is a challenge. But here are solutions to making it work:

1) SET A "GO HOME TIME".

Most of us have set our working hours. But have we actually selected a "go home" time? Setting up "go home" time enables our brain to transition from work to family, parent or home mode. This prevents unnecessary checking of work emails, or messages and sets the boundaries to keep you on track with your time.

2) DESIGNATE A WORK SPACE.

It may be a basic table with your WFH essentials or an actual office space that sets you in the mood to be productive. Insider tip: Don't designate your bedroom as workspace. The bedroom is only for two things: One for sleep, and the other one, well... is... you know... Not for WFH.

3) DISCOVER YOUR DE-STRESSOR.

While WHF can provide you the conveniences of home, it is still work. And with work comes stress. Discover what your go-to routine is when you feel stressed out. This may be exercise, yoga meditation, music, playing with kids, or praying. Discover it and you're on your way to a wonderful WLB while on WFH.
