𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐎𝐖: DOST PCAARRD, through the Regional Agri-Aqua Innovation System Enhancement (RAISE) Program Batch 2 Phase 1, concludes its two-year duration with a Terminal Review on February 26, 2026 in Angeles City, Pampanga.
The activity highlights the program’s accomplishments over the past two years vis-à-vis its targets/deliverables. The event also provides a platform to discuss challenges encountered during program implementation as well as future plans of the program.
Participating in the activity are RAISE program teams from Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Central Visayas, Western Mindanao, Northern Mindanao, SOCCSKSARGEN, and Caraga.
A proposal packaging workshop will also be conducted tomorrow, February 27 to strategize and plan for the target deliverables of the next phase of the program.

The Bohol Island State University Agri-Aqua Technology Business Incubator (BISU ATBI) conducted a visit to Sir Joseph The Explorer Farm in Ubay, Bohol as part of its continuing initiatives to identify potential incubatees and expand collaboration with local farmers.

This visit is an important step toward possible incubation and partnership, aligned with BISU ATBI’s mandate to assist farmers in improving production, product development, and market expansion of Boholano products.

Sir Joseph The Explorer demonstrates strong passion for farming and commitment to expanding locally produced goods, which aligns with the goals of the BISU ATBI Project.

Congratulations! Sir Joseph The Explorer

We would like to congratulate Sir Joseph The Explorer for his inspiring work in sharing authentic Filipino food and culture. Through his calm and sincere way of cooking, filmed in his beautiful farm in Bohol, he highlights simple living, sustainability, and respect for nature.

Joseph The Explorer is one of the most remarkable chefs of our time, not just because of his cooking skills, but because of the heart and authenticity he brings to every video. Even though we don’t always see his full face, his presence is strongly felt through the way he prepares food, calm, focused, and deeply connected to the ingredients. His storytelling through cooking keeps viewers engaged, proving that passion matters more than appearances.

We often see him in his beautiful, self-owned farm in Bohol, a place that perfectly reflects his philosophy of simple living and sustainable food. Social Media Metrics

(1) Facebook Followers and (2)YouTube Subscribers: Reflect the most recent totals prior to the final cut-off on December 20, 2025.

(3) Channel All-Time Views: Measures a vlogger’s long-term journey on social media, counting all views from the first day of content creation up to the present, spanning as much as 20 years.

(4) Facebook Video Views (Reels): Counted only for videos uploaded from January 1 to December 20, 2025, following a clean-slate policy each year to measure current vlogger activity.
Video Inclusion Criteria

Only videos meeting all of the following are included:
• Minimum length of 2 minutes
• Uploaded in the Philippines
• Edited and original content
• Related to the Philippines and its people
• Vlogger is present throughout the video
• Not owned by another creator
• Not sponsored or paid content

(5) Video Quality Evaluation
• Scores are based on ratings from 19 members of the PVA Circle.
• Each member scores vloggers on a scale of 7.50 to 9.99.
• Final averaged score is classified into: Failed, Fair, Good, Very Good, Excellent, with the highest distinction labeled Outstanding.
Scope

Currently, 6,717 vloggers in the Philippines are included in this evaluation.

Reasons a Vlogger may be excluded from the Top 100?
• Involvement in a national scandal
• Involvement in scams or fraudulent activities
• Business or brand-only pages (not personal vlogging content)
• Continuous promotion of money betting apps or gambling-related content
• Inactive throughout 2025 (no video/less uploads during the year)
• Excessive promotion of unhealthy overeating content
• No clear identity shown (face or voice not revealed; only hands or objects)
• Excessive profanity or R-18 gestures
• Currently elected government officials who primarily create political content
• Vloggers not residing in the Philippines during the evaluation period
• Excessive sponsored content, where the channel functions more as marketing or affiliate advertising than genuine vlogging
• Overemphasis on money-making or giving false hope to viewers
• Over-scripted videos that are unrealistic and give the impression of dishonesty, including pranks or social experiments.

The BISU ATBI successfully conducted a Training-Workshop on Product Branding and Labeling for the Agri-Aqua Sector.

The sessions, led by experts Ms. Tamara Ansley Raut (CCAD) and Ms. Abigael B. Villamor (BEDIPO), covered essential topics such as:
✨ Achieving a good product
✨ Sustainable trend packaging
✨ FDA overview and proper product labeling

Participants also engaged in interactive activities, product evaluations, and a one-on-one consultation with the speakers helping incubatees identify improvements, refine their designs, and strengthen their branding strategies.

By the end of the workshop, our incubatees walked away with clearer direction, actionable steps, and renewed motivation to elevate their products for a wider market reach.
