When I first started as a Virtual Assistant, I believed all the “rules.”
I had to know everything before starting.
I had to say yes to every client.
Losing a client meant I was failing.
Mistakes were a sign I wasn’t cut out.

Truth? None of that is real.
Growth as a VA is messy. You learn by doing, you set boundaries, you let the wrong clients go, and you embrace mistakes as lessons.
If you’re in that “figuring things out” phase, know this: you’re not behind. You’re building your career, step by step.

The part where you’re:
– doing things you’ve never done before
– questioning yourself more than usual
– feeling stretched, unsure, and slightly overwhelmed

That doesn’t mean you’re failing.
It usually means you’re growing.

When I started pushing myself outside my comfort zone, it didn’t feel like success at all.
It felt messy. Slow. Uncertain.

But looking back?
Those uncomfortable seasons were the ones that moved me forward the most.

If things feel hard right now, take a breath.
You’re not doing it wrong — you’re just in the middle of becoming.
