Recently, the data from Department of Tourism revealed a significant increase in tourist arrivals in our country capping 400,000 in January 2012 alone. Looking at the natural wonders our city could offer to tourist, I am drawn to conclude that this trend could impact local tourism enormously. Problems with hotel occupancy and availability could be imminent and home stay is a viable option to our guests. For several years, HOME STAY has become a tourism marketing scheme distinct from other service industry eg. hotels and other accomodations. It provides a truly remarkable Filipino experience of hospitality and courtesy to future guests whom are treated almost as visiting relatives.
