𝗗𝗣𝗪𝗛 𝗜𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

The Department of Public Works and Highways has released 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼. 𝟭𝟲𝟵, 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, establishing updated guidelines for the accreditation and assignment of contractors' and consultants' project engineers to DPWH projects.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀:
✅ Only accredited project engineers may be assigned to DPWH projects
✅ Different assignment limits based on classification (PE II, PE I, and Provisional Project Engineer)
✅ Limits vary for Regional/District Offices and Unified Project Management Offices (UPMOs)
✅ Full implementation 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟬𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

This order aims to ensure qualified oversight of infrastructure projects across all DPWH offices, with specific thresholds for simultaneous assignments and project costs based on engineer classification.
