Freelancing is not for the weak. If you don’t know this yet, let me tell you!

You need to prepare yourself for more rejections than wins. Out of 100 applications you send, maybe only one to three will reply, and perhaps just one will become your client.

But remember, each rejection is a step closer to your success.

Mahirap maghanap ng clients, pero kapag nahanap mo na yung “the one,” sobrang worth it! ✨🤍

Yung client na magtitiwala sa'yo, rerespetuhin ang boundaries mo, maniniwala sa kakayahan mo, mag-aappreciate ng trabaho mo, at magbabayad ng tama.

That client who will treat you as a true partner in their business, making you feel like a valuable part of their team.

The road to success is not easy.

There will be many challenges, many rejections, and many times you’ll doubt yourself. But remember, all successful freelancers have gone through this phase. You are not alone.

With every proposal you write, you become better. With every rejection, you learn something new. And with every step, you get closer to your dream.

God planted the dream of becoming a virtual assistant in your heart for a reason. He knows you can do it. He knows you have the talent and ability to succeed. So don’t lose hope.

Believe in yourself just as God believes in you. Keep praying and keep looking.

The right client is out there, waiting to find you. And when the right opportunity comes, all your hard work will be worth it.

The Republic Act 11927 or the “Philippine Digital Workforce Competitiveness Act” is now a Law!

The Digital Workforce Competitiveness Act lapsed into law last July 30, 2022. It seeks to guarantee the development of the country’s Digital Workforce by providing Filipinos with better digital skills.

The law will enable the government to enter public-private partnerships with industry experts, IT-BPO associations, private companies, and other stakeholders to plan and implement training, skills development, and certification programs for digital careers. It also aims to leverage the already accelerating growth of the gig economy in the country.

Under the law passage, the Inter-Agency Council for Development and Competitiveness of the Philippine Digital Workforce includes the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) as one of its Council members.
