Sir Joefil is the founder and CEO of Jocson Construction and Management Corporation, a company that has earned three ISO certifications for its quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems. With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, he is a certified master and international project manager who leads a team of professionals in delivering compreh
ensive and cost-efficient solutions for various construction management projects. At the Polytechnic University of the Philippines Open University System and the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology Graduate School, Sir Joefs, as he is affectionately known, serves as a professorial lecturer and panel adviser, imparting knowledge and guidance to students in areas such as educational research, project management, engineering management, quality management, and operations management. He holds a PhD and a master's degree in engineering management, as well as a post-doctoral diploma in quality management. He is a certified data protection officer and a member of several professional organizations and societies. He has received multiple awards and recognitions for his leadership and contribution to the field. In March 2024, CEO Insights Asia named him among the top 10 leaders in the Philippine construction industry. His mission is to inspire and empower the next generation of engineers and managers to excel in their careers and create a sustainable impact on society. His advocacy is for lifelong learning, environmental protection, quality management, mental health, and more.
