HIRING: Electrician (Data Center Construction)
Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and experienced Electricians to join our team for the construction of a new data center. The ideal candidates will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in accordance with project specifications and safety standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and systems for data center construction projects.
* Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams to plan installation routes.
* Perform wiring for power distribution, lighting, and grounding systems.
* Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and project guidelines.
* Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on electrical systems as required.
* Install and connect switchgear, circuit breakers, and backup power systems.
* Assist in cable management, including fiber optics and structured cabling.
* Collaborate with other trades and contractors to ensure seamless project ex*****on.
* Follow strict safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
* Maintain accurate documentation of electrical work, testing results, and system performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in data center or commercial construction.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
* Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
* Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
* Experience working with high-voltage systems, backup power, and UPS installations is a plus.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills.
* Relevant certifications or licenses required by local regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in mission-critical facilities or data center environments.
* Knowledge of environmental control systems and power management strategies.
* Familiarity with energy-efficient electrical solutions.
