Did you know that face masks are made out of a variety of polymers such as polypropylene, polyurethane, polyacrylonitrile, polystyrene, polycarbonate, polyethylene, or polyester which have been used as a raw material in the manufacture of many plastic products. Its inner layer is composed of soft fibers, middle layer with met-down fiber, and outside layer with hard fiber. This becomes a great indicator that make facemasks as a good and potentially feasible aggregate to be used as reinforced material for concrete, especially in making sustainable, durable, and eco-friendly construction bricks πŸ’š
